There is a store in the Thika Road Mall known as Miniso where affordability meets quality and organizational discipline. The store in TRM was done by the Haussmann Group, who hired me to take photos of the finished interior, and it was an experience right from the get-go.

If you know me, then you know I am a huge Anime fan. So I am not intimidated by Japanese organization and weird toy fetishes. But I was unbelievably excited to see a store like this in real life.

Perhaps even more exciting is that here I was taking pictures of the interior of such a store. But it’s not just the organization that’s tops about the Miniso Store. It is very rare to find a store in Kenya which offers a close balance between quality and cost. Value for money is something very many Kenyan stores struggle with.

Miniso offers actually useful items at an affordable cost. Plus the store is very efficient so the shopping experience is unique.
