There is a little place across the street from my place which makes pretty decent meals.
Forget decent, the guy is a genius.
His name is Gil.
He used to work at Java but moved on to opening his own little place.
Funny enough, He didn’t learn how to cook at Java. He learned on the job at his own place. Well, he did pick up the interest by watching the cooks at Java but hands on cooking skills were on the job training.
What is surprising is just how good he is at it. He made this club sandwich which has chicken bits, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber and a fried egg… Sunny side up!
And let’s not forget the lemon juice… It’s good! Very very good…
Where is this place?
It’s called The Scarf, it’s in Roysambu.
ahhh great club sandwhich. and great photography!.. I like the name of his place too. DO you do a lot of food photography?
