This was actually taken a few days ago when the moon was full and it was that eerie shade of yellow. I am a cancer so the moon is particularly appealing to me.

But this is one of the shots I took yesterday, outside the apartment building, while Kenya Power was busy testing the ability of the average Kenyan to see in the dark.

What I like about these pictures is the amount of detail in the sky. I forgot how much I like star gazing. It’s hard to do in a city of lights like Nairobi.

It’s messed up but I gotta say thanks to Kenya Power. Without the blackout, I probably wouldn’t have done this. Considering I just got Arrested Development Season 4.
